We strongly believe in fostering good relationships, building strong community ties and ensuring social harmony in areas we operate. We strive to operate and maintain above and beyond our contractual obligations.
This honour was bestowed onto SAEMS by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), Fortportal Branch in recognition of our performance during the construction of the Nyamwamba hydropower project.
The award recognises employers who fulfil all of their social security obligations to their employees, especially in relation to how companies follow the Employment Act of 2006, Occupational Safety & Health Act, the Labour Unions Act of 2006, the Labour Disputes (Arbitration & Settlement) Act of 2006, the Workers Compensation Act 2000, the NSSF Act 1985 and others.
